Narrativas sobre ensinar e aprender – têxtil, moda, produto

Este Blog surgiu durante a participação da Orbitato na CAMPUS HEIMTEXTIL em janeiro de 2011. Ao encontrar tantas academias, de tantos lugares diferentes, me encantei com as possibilidades e com os visíveis esforços em torno dos objetivos de aprender e de ensinar.

Percebi que para todas as diferentes realidades expostas, o entorno sócio político e cultural contava de forma decisiva, e que os resultados mostrados, mesmo representando um aluno ou pequeno grupo de alunos, refletiam a complexidade dos sistemas dos quais estes faziam parte, deixando entrever o país e seus meios produtivos, econômicos e culturais.

E como, para lá das condições coletivas, também aparecia como determinante dos resultados apresentados, a intenção e energia individuais, fazendo valer o livre arbítrio e empenho pessoais

A idéia do Blog, é mostrar esse conjunto de intenções e ações, apresentando, se e quando possível, suas vinculações ou razões de ser. A idéia inicial era mostrar os participantes da CAMPUS HEIMTEXTIL, mas logo me pareceu que perde-se amplitude desta forma.  Temos conhecido tanto lugares interessantes onde se ensina e se aprende, que decidimos ampliar e simplesmente mostrar experiências focando nos diversos atores do processo ensino aprendizagem, e nos entornos que lhe dão razão de ser, ao redor do mundo.

Também imaginamos contar com contribuições em forma de posts, de instituições estão ou não citadas no Blog, acrescentando conteúdos e pontos de vista, revelando processos limites e possibilidades. Basta postar na área de ENVIO, textos em inglês ou português, acompanhados de fotos com as devidas legendas. O mesmo espaço poderá ser utilizado para correções de fatos, nomes ou endereços que podem se fazer necessários pela diversidade de línguas originais envolvidas.

Todos os posts serão bilingues, inglês/português e entrarão nesta ordem no blog, ou seja, ao final de todo texto em inglês o leitor encontrará sua verão em português, que traz informações adicionais sobre os países sede das instituições que nos parecem relevantes.

Narratives about teaching and learning – textile, fashion, product

This blog came about during Orbitato’s participation at CAMPUS HEIMTEXTIL in January 2011. Meeting so many schools, from so many different places, I was charmed by the possibilities and efforts around the objectives of learning and teaching.

I noticed that for every different reality been shown, the social, political, and cultural context was decisive, and that the exhibited results – even though representing one individual or a small group of students -  reflected the complexity of the systems where they belonged, allowing to see through their country’s economy, culture and production means.

And how, beyond the collective conditions, the individual will and energy was also decisive in the results shown, putting forward the discretion and personal efforts.

The idea of this blog is to show this array of intentions and actions, presenting – if and when possible – their bonds or reasoning. The initial idea was to present CAMPUS HEIMTEXTIL’s participants, but soon it seemed to me that this format would make the blog loose amplitude.
We have met so many interesting places where people teach and learn, that we wanted to expand to simply showing experiences that focused in the various actors participating in the learning process, and the surroundings that justify it, around the world.

We also thought about counting on contributions given as posts, from institutions that are or are not featured in the Blog already, adding content and points of view, revealing limitations and possibilities.
For this purpose, people may send their texts in English or Portuguese via the SUBMIT area. Photos, appropriately subtitled, may accompany them.
The same space can be used for correcting facts, names or addresses – which might be useful due to the diversity in original languages involved.

All of the posts will be bilingual, English/Portuguese, and will be posted in this order on the blog, meaning that at the end of every English text the reader will find its Portuguese version.
The Portuguese versions may bring additional information about the host country of the institutions, if it seem relevant to us.

The idea is to get to know each other!
